QuoteI still did not test this.
why didn't you test it?
it's a matter of grouping on the datepart of day, datepart of month, and the client id.
I already run it and given me the results that i needed. Right now im running a deeper test. What im thinking is to do all that in one query
Posted 8 Jan 2013Try breaking the query up with two like clauses- one for 'Johnny' and the other for 'Depp'. Use an OR conditional here to account for both.
ahaha. I was hoping for a function simillar to like. hmmmn. but thanks maybe theres none, thanks much. ill just concatinate the query string depending on the users search string spaces(' ')

Posted 26 Oct 2012Have you given much consideration to "contains" as a search option?
not yet but ill try this
Posted 8 Oct 2012Try this then:
select /*a1.Fields*/ from SubCategory a1 LEFT JOIN SubCategory a2 ON a1.seqnum = a2.seqnum AND a2.Parent = a1.SubCategoryID where a1.SubCategoryID = '20005' or a1.Parent = '20005'
It returns only the parent. thanks. maybe something wrong with my db. ehehe.
