This will not work out unless someone is very desperate......99.9% of people like green backs not future stock options

Ah well I'm not looking for anyone who's pro at PHP and is looking for cash. But people who are relatively new to working on web projects or someone who hasn't really gone big and fancy with PHP development, and wants to work on a team to see the outcome and gain some experience for their resume.

Curious question - is this a paying gig? Part time? Full time?

No, I won't be paying programmers. But the programmers will be the developers/owners of the site and we will work together to finish coding the system in sight for profit in return. Work will be mainly part time.

  5. In Topic: How to be a good java programmer

    Posted 10 Aug 2012

I just started Java last week, and I've found a lot of good tutorials both video and text, I've done about half of the sites so far, still working on bottom ones, and they've helped me. I also downloaded some video tutorial apps on the the app store which were also a great help. My experience with C++ has made learning Java pretty easy.

I'm not sure why that dude has the authorization to lock threads, but learning ruby will be of marginal help to you if all you're interested in is building web apps. If you're interested in learning rails, I'd stay focused on rails specific tuts/books for a while like Make check into how 'yield' works in ruby ...
