    Thank you all for the help I good the code to compiler on the terminal using

    gcc -Wall .. -o TCPEchoClient4

    I am still going do some research to get geany to work

    I am currently downloading it right now, but I do like the how simple geany is.

    I googled how to use the makefile command in geany and I am seeing alot of people are
    having the same problem that I am having.

    Sorry I guess I dont get what you mean.

    All three files do compile with geany but when I try to using the build command I get the
    linking error.

    I know my whole problem is some novice misteak that I can not seem to figure out when I
    trying searching through google.
