    Also, one thing I forgot to mention is to always use
    stripslashes

    and mysql_real_escape[/code] for any user-inputted variables and $_GET variables.If you don't, users can easilly manipulate your site, and exploit information(like everyone's usernames and passwords)

    I read three errors:
    Javascript Error: undefined referance error: can't find variable: Class; undefined TypeError: 'un defined' is not a function; TypeError 'undefined' is not an object

    Hope that helps,

    When I was 8, I decided to try the same thing. At first, it was very confusing... until I found a website called w3schools.com. Here's a link to their PHP page. It includes information about all of the major PHP tags, and will help you get into it. W#Schools | PHP Tutorial

    Instead of installing Virtual Box of Virtual PC, Ubuntu has an installer that can install itself as a program, which makes it much easier to test out. Here's a link:

  5. In Topic: Using PHP to deliver conditional CSS

    Posted 10 Jul 2012

    I often create a php if/then based style attribute, such as
    <?php
    if($browser=="ie5")
      {
      $somestyle = "background-color: #2371AF; some other attributes;";
      }
    if($browser=="firefox")
      {
      $somestyle = "background-color: #1732FA; some more attributes;";
      }
    ?>
    <html>
    <head>
    <style>
    .somestyle {
      <?php echo $somestyle; ?>
      }
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>
    <div class="somestyle">asdfjkl</div>
    </body>
    </html>

    that way, the code will change based on different conditions, such as the browser.
