    This was how i set all my database connection

     AppDomain.CurrentDomain.SetData("DataDirectory", "C:\Users\ELKAYSOFT\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\Automated Student Academic Records\Automated Student Academic Records")

    Okay, this is what i did, i followed clickonce method for deploying .net application. On my machine i imported the database to my project during the developement. After doing that i used "|DataDirectory|" in my connection string. So after the completion of the project on my system, i published it using ClickOnce deployment. Before publishing, i made sure i added some prerequisites (most especially SQL Server express). On installing the application on another machine, when i tried to login, i received the error: an attempt to auto-attach database failed........

    @tlhIn`toq I did the development and publishing on my PC. Then i copied the application to another PC, on installing the application on the PC, when i tried to Login, the error: "an attempt to attach an auto-named database failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share" was displayed
