finalString.setCharAt(0, 'x'); //I know the first value in the set of parameters is position, but in the 2nd value, how do I get it to refer to a position and value in my other string? //something like //finalString, myString //finalString.setCharAt(*thisposition*, *set to this character to the character that is contained in position X in myString*);

It's all in lower case, I've done that stuff in a different method. I'm just searching for a way to be able to set a specific element (a certain character) in a String equal to another element (another char)in a different string. After that the program is essntially done, I just don't know of a way to do that.
Like I was saying something similar to
[CODE] String1[i] = String2[x] (Where i and x are certain positions in the arrays, I'd like to change that specific element to the character from the other string
