  1. In Topic: Have Elements Change Size as Windows Resizes

    Posted 28 Jan 2014

Over the past few days, I've been looking into responsive web design. The only problem is that, I have already created the website I need it on and I would have to practically recreate the site to implement it. How can I just force there to be a horizontal scroll bar it the resolution of the user is too small?

Okay, I have tried booting off of a DVD and I see a purple Ubuntu color screen, but then the screen goes black. I am thinking it is a graphics compatibility issue. Any objections?

I haven't had much luck. It is probably one of two things though. 1) The BIOS is out of date or 2) This computer is not capable of booting off of a usb. Unfortunately, I do not have immediate access to a dvd to test #2. I am not really sure how to check if the BIOS is out of date or not. Right now, I am running a startup repair on Windows to add any missing files.

Now that you bring that up... I put the DVD that came with my mobo to reinstall the drivers. When I did that, I noticed that the DVD drive is not showing up on my computer and not showing up in the device manager, but it shows up in the BIOS. Recently I went through the Programs and Features and removed things which I though was collected malware. I may have accidentally removed drivers for networking and drivers for my DVD drive. I think that this may be the problem. I am going to install the DVD drivers and try to get that to work then reinstall the network drivers from the DVD, any objections?
