    I've had a lot of success with Parse.com. You don't need to worry about subscribing to Apple's APNS protocol and they have a pretty decent PHP wrapper.

    Weird to see a response to something I wrote 6 years ago. My how times have changed.

    First, please replace stripslashes with mysql_real_escape_string. I was young and ignorant.

    Check to make sure don't have any extra single quotes or to make sure you don't have any extra double quotes. That error is indicating that mysql can't execute the query, so there's something wrong with it. Can you print out the entire query you're generating and repost?

    Should probably go back and rewrite this tutorial.

    I would check your paths but really it's different from system to system. I don't think I can help you too much further. If you post on the actual discussion though someone else may be able to give you assistance. Good luck.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I am using windows XP and the file permission for the folder has been set to read, write and execute. But still the problem is not solved. What could be done?

    Hi akozlik. The tutorial "Uploading images with php" have been useful for newbies like me. Now it has been easy to upload and fetch the images from database while executing on localhost. But I am having the problem with uploading the image when I am executing program on server. can you help me with this?
