I built a thorough test suite for our controls. On the bad side, I now have to write every test now. So monotonous.

I'm building part of one of the projects I can actually talk about! I'm working on part of Vireo:
    https://github.com/Dogstopper/VireoSDK

I'm also developing a test infrastructure, which I actually enjoy. I hate writing the test themselves, but designing architectures is something I enjoy.

When I get home, I'm going to keep playing and writing about hybrid mobile apps and learning how to leverage a common AngularJS codebase between the web and a mobile infrastructure such as the Ionic Framework. May be working on an app with a buddy of mine!

So just the one part of the application I work on is 34.7gb, another that I sometimes mess with is another 48.6gb, another is 12.2gb, and my local, empty copy of the database is 16.9gb

I bet that's nothing to what Dogstopper and Betawar have, too.

When I sync down a code branch with no binaries, just code (C#), is roughly 11GB. This is Countless millions of lines of code.

When I do a full compile, the Binaries alone are huge. I'll let the picture tell the story...

EDIT: That's both a debug as well as release build. Both are run on the Gated Checkin to make sure nothing is broken

It rejects gated checkins if you do not conform EXACTLY to style guides. Such as an extra space between "for (blah in blah)" or if you miss them. Last night, I had to suppress a Code Analysis problem that said I could not use string.ToLower...ever. I was outputting xml code, so it HAD to be lowercase and this blasted system won't let me compile. Plus, a compile takes upwards of 30 minutes to complete. I'm completely utterly sick of this system.

I would also recommend looking into Cordova. It't open source and allows you to access native things on your device, such as Sensors and even GPIO pins if you want. So only a small portion of your app would need to be rewritten and perhaps even enhanced (such as instead of arrow keys, you can use tilt). It is super simple and will compile to a native apk or ipa with no problem. You might even get Windows phone for free.

My interests start with Computer Science, but I am also fascinated by discrete mathematics and nuclear engineering.

In addition to high-performance scientific computing, I really enjoy robotics and machine learning, and I am working on some really cool robotics applications!

Finally, I'm actually somewhat of a math aficionado. I really enjoy both discreet and continuous mathematics.
