Can't help but ask why you claimed it was a (DIC Edition) when you are just linking back to your external blog. Couldn't you just copy and paste it, with at least a quote from the link? I know its your blog, but it is featured

I explained why I'm calling it "DIC Edition" in my first post:

This is only my second post, so if you're patient you will see some DIC-specific posts. I'm not saying they'll be ground-breaking material. But it will probably be stuff that doesn't fit for my blog.
Just for you, I've included a "preview" of the post.
I've posted the text that is be shown in the preview of my RSS feed. I'll try to continue doing it that way until there is a plug-in that will grab it for me.Now, did you have a comment to make about my blog post, or were you just writing to complain?

I didn't mean to complain, sorry if I came across that way , its just that the point was I'd probably be more interested in reading something if I had a small idea about the interesting arguments / topics the post produced (after visiting </DIC>, I have sparked a paranoia for.. It's a Trap! 
) lol. Also, in Australia, pretty much the only thing we hear about is E3 (I wouldn't even go out of my way to visit that despite how cool it looks), so no I personally wouldn't go to JavaOne if it involved a plane ticket.

Don't sweat it. I was being kind of tongue-in-cheek when I said, "complain" (hence the smiley). The previews are definitely a good idea.
