I've been thinking a lot lately... never a good idea, I realize this, but bear with me... and I realized that while I very, very rarely update my blogs (DIC or personal), when I DO choose to do so, I find myself torn on where to post what (because no one reads my personal blog except for my one friend who only comments on the content via telephone)... so I tend to post more personal stuff here for the sake of feeling validated in that someone is reading my drivel... and sometimes I post the same exact steaming pile of poo in both places.
I've decided this needs to change. My DIC blog is a "developer blog" and as such should be used primarily for nerdiness, not 'feel sorry for me cuz life sucked yesterday' whining.
So starting now, I shall attempt to fill my DIC blog with geeky goodness and save my sniveling, wimpering personal life for my personal blog (the url is available in my profile for the three people who actually enjoy reading about my latest hangnail or my daughter's obsession with Nazi Germany).
What does this mean for all of you? That depends. It could mean more worthwhile code-based content. Or it could mean my DIC blog will sit dormant for years to come. Only the future me in a parallel universe knows for sure...
