In a recent story in the Times, we find the following sentence:
This is a strange usage of the word "accused" - this is not an accusation, it is an observation. A man who devotes years of his life to running an organization whose output consists largely of white supremacist and anti-semitic views and conspiracy theories is a person who promotes such views and conspiracy theories.
While we all flinch a bit at plainly stating ugly facts, it is a necessary step in this life: the incoming president of the United States wants his strategies to come from the mind that ran that cesspool. Refusing to face this fact is unseemly in the American paper of record.
Quote
When Mr. Bannon was recently accused of anti-semitism and of promoting white supremacist views and conspiracy theories, Mr. Kushner reassured the Trump team.
