I've been looking at the blogs lately and I'm starting to notice a trend, most are fairly pointless. I'm not going after anyone specificly, but some blogs don't do much but give the writer something to do for 5-10 minutes. There isn't anything wrong with that but it will eventually make the blogs section cluttered and annoying to look at, such as when people make an entry to help you with a problem that should realy be on the Tutorials or Snippets section or that's already there. I try to write about my projects, tips, ideas and so on and I try not to clutter. Because lets face it, no one like pointless, rambling blogs about nothing, blogs that would cover a good subject, but are too short and blogs that can be discribed in two words.
The point of this entry is to help the bloggers, and future blogs, to talk about interesting subjects and not "I played this game for 10 years and I'm still not bored!". So this isn't fully a rant, but a reminder that blogs should help or be informative and not to clutter.
(And I'm sorry if you think that this itself isn't purposeful and oozes of irony)
Thanks for reading!

Unfortunately, that sounds like my blog.
My memory sucks, I actually forget I've got it. And I often end up moving on to other projects, too~ particularly that game programming stuff, I got into C# and I prefer software development now...
Maybe I should change the title?
Now I forgot what I was gonna say
EDIT:
This comment oozes of irony actually~ I ended up rambling. Sorry about that.

Well I try to blog about lots of different things... some tutorial in nature, some more as tips on great design, even a few corny story like posts. I think a blog is pretty much anything that sticks to a general theme (like PROGRAMMING) when it comes to writing on a programming website.
I really hate seeing blogs that really tell you nothing other than "I did this today, aren't I kewl?" Yeah you bloggers know who you are!
But anyways, good to see you are featured. Hopefully you come through with a great relevant blog.
