Don't threaten your mark. This is a scam, not a stick up.

When pretending to be part of a company don't sound like an external source.
At least try to tie the different reasons for your scam together. What does an Internet Explorer promotion, an e-mail beta, and the lottery have to do with each other?

I got a good one of these not to long ago. Apparently I had family in Africa (as far as I know the past four generations have lived in the U.S., and before that Ireland) And they died and left me $100,000. And you think the English was bad in this one, oh man. You figure sometimes that the people who fall for this might just deserve it.

Common guys havent you ever heard "Trust, without it you will get no free candy?"
It amazes me that they still bother spamming emails like this out. 99% of them get caught by spam guards and of that 1%, 99% of them sit and laugh at it like we are. I know its easy, click the computer button and spam away, wait and magically get money from 1 dumb hick somewhere, but seriously.
Personally I am always a fan of the numerous Nigerian Princes who take me in consideration to hold their wealth for them
