I'd like to share this article and site with everyone. It was quite an interesting read especially when you look at the concepts behind the way they go about teaching code. While there are no shortage of interactive coding tutorials online (e.g. code academy) this site focuses on teaching coding by giving the code by using visual content to that ties to the code.
Here is an example of what they look at when pairing the code with the images.

This seems very similiar to the Head First series of books

What a coincidence, I started CodeAcademy yesterday. The only thing that makes or breaks these kinds of sites for me is the content. For example, the lesson I took yesterday was bad because it was vague and I think it taught the wrong stuff first.
