Hi,
I want to have a serial port/ ethernet communication between an MS dos 6.22 system and an XP desktop system. I am able to do communication between 2 DOS machine in Ethernet. Can someone throw a light into what has to be done for this communication?

I'm not sure why you would use MS DOS. If you just need to transfer software or any file this link might help you.

We are using MS DOS6.22 system for project. The code modifiations are done in Windows machine and these modification has to be transffered to the DOS machine. Similarly the exe has to be taken back to windows XP machine. The size of the exe is more than 3MB, so not able to transfer through floppy. The final aim is to have an interconncetion of different DOS machine to an XP system , which can act as a server for all the DOS system
