I ran into a pole that had like 99.5% windows users. Sad. I could go into all the different popular open sources OS's, but I figuired "other" would do it. If you use more than one OS, poll the one you use the most.

I mainly use Linux (Debian) at home, but also run a winXP box for my wife. WinXP at work. I consider myself mainly a Linux user.

sweeto. I used to have my machine running primarily red hat and win 98. I had been using XP for about one year + one half of one year, before I switched to MacOSX.

Windows XP SP2.. I love windows XP.. by far the best MS OS I've used.. I hear people complain about it.. but it's not hard to maintain and keep in top stable condition.. and I throw alot of crappy programs on it.. beta stuff.. games.. installs and uninstalls of lots of programs..

Oh ya. Atleast we are only are 70%ish here. I hope that those 70% use windows because they like windows and not because it's all they know. If people like Windows best, power to them, but too many people use it blindly.

you've got 13 votes so far, that is hardly a valid sample of DIC
just wait for others to vote, and it will steadily increase towards 99%

Unfortunately, I am one of those that uses Windows because it's all I've ever known. Recently, however I have thought a lot about moving to Linux and/or Mac OSX, so we'll see.

The only thing I like PC's better for now is downloading, simply because of the massive amount of P2P programs out there. Other than that, my powerbook gets all my time at home and on the go, and the G5 at work, obviously, get time.

Why did you go back? Did you switch, like get a mac, use it for a week, don't like it, back to PC? It took me 2 years of using both before I got used to the functions and navigation of a Mac to the point I could perform as well. If you've honestly given macs a while and tried them out, I'm curious, why did you end up switched back to PC? Also, before or after OSX? I never used mac before OSX, but I worked a little in 9 and ew, I didn't really enjoy it.
