Ok, I really want to get a Mac. I'm a college student, so I get a small discount. What should I get for a desktop (no laptop shit)?

haha, me too! Luke, drop me an email, I might be able to deepen your discount. Also, how much do you want to spend? The mac minis are VERY sexy as stated. If you want to go insane and have cash to spend, pick up the dual 2.5ghz G5's! Let me know your price range, and I can give some advice. You can also look at the refurb units on the apple website. I also highly recommend getting apple care with WHATEVER you buy. It's like owning a brand new computer as long as you have it. I've heard stories of people dropping iPod's out of cars, turning it in with apple care and getting replacements. No first hand experiences because i've never needed to use it, but I have apple care with my powerbook and my ipod.
