I have only really read Marvel and DC comics so I don't know many of the newer comics. My absolute favorite is Rogue from X-Men. In the DC universe it would have to be the Joker.

Marvel always has the upper hand on comic book characters, in my opinion. I would probably have to say my favorite is night-crawler. His mutated looks mixed with his caring, & generous attitude, made for a great hero.

But for D.C. my favorite would have be Harley Quinn.... r-r-r-r-r-r-r!

My favorite character would have to be John Constantine (from the Hellblazer series), with Spider Jersusalem as a close second (from Transmetropolitan).
I generelly prefer the comics and characters created after and during the "British Invasion" in the 80's then the more classic (generally super heroes) ones.
