amd phenon quad core or intel quad core

Posted 06 May 2009 - 09:42 PM

amd phenom quad core 64 bit is taking over intel quad core in the market

amd has a inbuilt feature of cutting out a single thread program into four threads and use all the four cores
so this is the answer for people saying not much available in market to utilize quad core

I prefer amd phenom and also using it and works great
so what do you prefer

also amd is much more cheaper

Maybe it should go in the Computer Support & Operating Systems forum.

I personally prefer AMD, I have an AMD Phenom II and love it. I had an Intel Dual Core a few years ago and my wife's AMD dual core would do things faster.

Well to me as I have AMD at the moment and it does run stuff faster then a Core 2 Duo 2.5ghz but Intel will always be better for gaming, because of the big cache sizes also AMD is good and cheap :)
