Hi guys, I want to buy a laptop. There is such a wide array of options that I don't know what to buy so maybe you can share some insight. I saw the Lenovo W700 and that thing is a monster, but at 3500$ it's just too expensive.

Primarily I want the laptop for programming and occasionally for gaming.

I need the laptop to have the following:

• 15'' or greater display size
  
• 8/10 graphics card. Not the absolute cutting edge, but not some integrated crap.
  
• At least 4 GB's of RAM.
  
• A great processor. (I'm not sure what's the latest with this area)
  
• Decent battery time, about 4-5 hours.
  
• 25nit brightness
  
• 260GB + storage.
  
• Price can't be more than 1200$.

With those kinda specs, I'd budget about £1,000. ($1,516) Can't really make too many recommendations though, I don't know these things. I reckon you'll be lucky with a budget like that.
