Switch Audio Channels

Posted 12 March 2005 - 02:34 PM

i am using a laptop. i have a subwoofer hooked up to line out, that then goes off to 2 normal desktop speakers labelled left and right.

due to the way my desk is, i have to place the speakers the wrong way round. so when i am playing video games or watching movies, sounds that are suppose to occur on the left, come from the right.

very annoying.

so is there any software solution to switch the left and right audio channels around?

can't seem to find anything in windows. i have looked at all my driver/sound settings and there is nothing helpful there.

Thanks
SoLi

There is more than likely a cable solution to that. Tell me how the entire system is configuired(self powered sats? amp powers sats? kinds of cables inputing and coming from where, RCA, 1\8" stereo, mono, etc) and I should be able to help you out.
