I have 2 machines that I need to update. One needs the XP SP3 update and the other needs new anti-virus on it. Both of these machine were originally media center machines but have been converted to XP. Both PC's have the same issue when I go to install SP3 or the new anti-virus it tries to install to the H: drive not the C: drive. Is there a way to "point" the install to a drive? Can I go into the registry somewhere and direct installs to goto the C: drive? It gives me NO option when trying to install it just defaults to the H: drive. Thanks for any help.

For the AV, find an option like 'Express or Custom installation'
btw, which AV are you trying to install?

Can you further explain what this means?
There is a media center version of XP, but you specify that they now run XP. I'm not sure what the above statement means.

It was preloaded with XP media center but has been upgraded to XP Pro. Now when I try to add SP3 and/or Symantec small business server edition to these machines it wants to default the installation to the H: drive which is a small partition for the recovery software for media center XP. I need to know how to get it to install to the C: drive. never seen this before.
