i havent even learned anything yet, but i need some tutorials. i worked with html, and css, but i dont think that would help any. any tutorials for newbs would help.

For Java I would recommend getting hold of a copy of Head First Java if you want to get off to a good start. Obviously its a book, not a tutorial, but this book really will give you the best possible start with Java and OOP in general. It's well written, easy to read and provides a heap of exercises that you can work through to reinforce the knowledge you pick up from each chapter. I tend to find that how fast I learn a new topic is greatly affected by the quality of the material that I am learning from and this is probably one of the best programming books out there.

You could also download the Java cheat sheet @ DIC, just to get you going and understanding the syntax used.

thanks XD. i was wondering, is it possible to get a virtual copy of that book? do they even have one, and is it free? if it is, send me a link please
