Buddha: Since we always seem to get into Religion in the lounge. The only reason I'm pointing to this one in particular is that I've read most of them. This is from Osamu Tezuka. While best known for "Astro Boy", he wrote on an amazing array of topics, Tezuka has been called Japan's Walk Disney as well as the father of manga.

@modi well, what is a comic book? it's certainly not like a regular book. a comic book is a book that is full of drawings, no? they don't have to have writings on them, even though the American genre does.

I know they are essentially drawings in book form, however, for simplicities sake please don't post any manga suggestions. This is the comic book suggestion thread. Let's not mix up two completely different things.
