NO SONIC! While yes, I like Sonic, and I am a gamer, I want to have some fun with the name.

Call him Java.

I was thinking Runtime Error but that's a bit long & doesn't roll of the tongue as nicely as Java does.

Picture it:
"Here, Java, come here boy! That's a good little hedgie, good Java."

Yeah, that's perfect.
