Working in 2 Software Houses is legal or Illegal?

I am working in a software house for Part Time 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM and after that i am enjoying DIC :D But a few day's ago another Software House Offered to Me as a Web developer from 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM, before talking with the second Software House i thought to tell to Manager, But he told me you can't work in 2 IT Company at at at time :blink: and it is illegal. is it illegal?

Not sure what the laws are in your country, however, in the USA there is no law governing where you can work or how many jobs you can have.

However, if your employer has made you sign a "Non-Compete" agreement stating you cannot work for a competitor for a certain period of time.

I would review any agreements/handbooks you signed or received when you began your employment, and if you think there is an actual "law" governing where you can/cannot work, I would contact your local government.

I wouldn't however discuss it with my current employer. Could be more of a problem to bring it up with your manager/employer.

What's the worst that can happen?
