I must just be stupid.

I've searched around and found out about ZipSlack, a Slackware Linux distribution, figured out that I probably just wanted the bare bones A package, and the FTP severs and stuff are confusing me...

There's like 3,000,000,000,000 million different folders and files , and I cannot figured out how to get what I need to install zipslack on my computer... Help?

I've looked at it muliple times over the last month or two, and everytime I try and figure it out, it just gets more confusing... That's basically the only reason I'm still running Windows too.... The ftp stuff is scaring me away....

You want to download the iso, for example : http://slackware.cs....kware-12.2-iso/

Alternatively, I'm sure you could purchase the install disks somewhere, relatively inexpensive. I bought slackware from CheapBytes many many years ago for like $2.
