Do we have any iPhone Developers?

Juggling a few c++ and visual basic applications, I would like to start developing applications for the iPhone. I have the programming ideas and concepts down, but I don't know how to start! So my questions are: What languages do iPhone developers use? I was thinking mostly objective c, but there may be more (like java)! And how would I go about compiling finished applications and putting them on my iPhone? Also, my iPhone is jb, so I don't need to use the app store! And I'm using a Windows PC.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

You will need to use the iPhone SDK which you can acquire from here.

You will need to know Objective C so I suggest learning that first before using the SDK.

Java (i.e. J2ME) is not supported on the iPhone and although it is capable of running a J2ME Emulator, the Apple App Store ensures that such applications are never accepted.
