perl script to copy data from a file to a particular cell of excell sh

Hi,
Can anyone plese help me to get a perl code which can copy data from a file to an excell sheet

Assume the file is
hakdhk 1234 dklqewdkl
wehkjh 5678 nklwjjewkl
kdhkhe 3456 jqwkldqjj


here ,i just want to copy the numbers 1234, 5678,3456 from the file and paste in into particular cell of an excell sheet without disturbing the formula in the excell sheet...

use split and Spreadsheet::ParseExcel
