This movie was so bad, I turned it off after the first 30 minutes, went back to the video store and demanded a free rental.
I hope you didnt get it! It's not Wes Anderson's best work, but still better then 90 % of the movies in the thread so far!
And don't they show foreign film in America?!; I have only spotted two so far!!

We have all kinds of Chinese movies, British movies, and occasionally some other various countries. I've found that Czech movies suck balls.

I am sure you do. I was being sarcastic
And Milos Forman's early (and Czech) work is good, even though his magnum opus was made in America (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest)!

Lol, I kept myself local. Us ugly Americans don't go for the foreign stuff, unless it's British. But for the "International" section of the rental store.
The Seven Samurai. Actually, almost anything Kurosawa. I really should watch the rest. However, the themes here will be familiar. The Magnificent Seven was a direct rip off.
Amélie. If this seems too much of a chick flick, try Delicatessen from the same director. Both are brilliantly quirky.
Leon. Release in the US as The Professional. French director Luc Besson is an action movie god. The Transporter or The Fifth Element might be the best known here.
Pan's Labyrinth. Forget Hellboy 2. Actually, watch this first. This is where del Torro's heart is.
Wings of Desire. This was later remade as City of Angels, but the original German one is better. Peter Falk plays himself.
