visual basic 2005

Posted 21 June 2005 - 11:47 PM

I recently got Visual Basic 2005 and i think it's excellent for creating programmes but i can't publish my project, it comes up with stuff like,

Cannot find Editor.exe.manifest

Is there any other way to exe your prodject instead of using their publish wizard.

Are you referring to the creation of an exe, usually self extracting, for deployment to client machines? There are a myriad of ways to create them. M$ has a free (as long as you have a legal copy if VB 2005, or Visual Studio) packaging and deployment tool available for download here (please note that there are different versions depending on what software you are running, please ensure you have the right one). InstallShield is also a very popular choice.
