Hi,
if you want to create .txt file try something like this:

Private sub cmdText_click()

open "C:\text.txt" for output as #1

write #1, Write here whatever you want

close #1

End sub

Wide open question...

Are you talking about as a resource file?
Read in a text file?
Example above for writing text file (but use FreeFile Function and not hard coded file numbers.)
