Thanks for the suggestion @stayscrisp. Chris created the Student Campus forum for students to hang out in and talk school, homework, etc. While the main interest of Dream.In.Code is a programming help forum, and yes we do have a ton of members that are students, but having a Math/Homework tutorial section would distract from what the long-term goals of Dream.In.Code, which is staying the #1 programming help community on the internet :)

I guess you are right :)

There is a lot of math to learn when coding games and not a great deal of good places to find help, I guess these questions can just be in the game programming section.

Thanks anyway :)

I don't think that would be a good idea. I've seen how math/s forums have turned into a struggle to keep your thread visible on the first page. and this is with many smaller sub topics, while we are just going to have one forum. I have a feeling it would turn into a C++ forum, flooded with all styles of questions. Math/s forums need to host a range of sub topics, in that I don't think DIC is ready for that. :)

But having that said, its just from personal experience and you may have another :)

I made a non-programming tutorial threadin the Student Campus for stuff like this but everyone shot it down. :( I thought it could come in handy!
