We want you for a top notch opportunity with a software firm to work with a small elite team doing cutting edge Java Development utilizing heavy open-source technologies and the latest and greatest trends. Here you will contribute across all aspects of software development with a small focused group of developers possessing a wide range of skill sets.
As the team grows you will find this to be the ideal time to become an integral member taking part in design and being hands on in the development while contributing to the direction of the company! In addition to working with other developers this position gives you a chance to work closely with clients creating new high performance web applications and associated web service platforms.
Our client is seeking a passionate software engineer who will participate in building front and back end frameworks for new media functions. If you stay up to date with the latest JAVA, open-source technology and want to work in a true software environment while contributing to the growth of the organization, this is the role for you.
Qualifications:
Ø Computer Science Degree with strong academic record
Ø Experience writing web application in Java and familiarity with J2EE concepts
Ø Experience with Linux and SQL (MySQL) in a project driven software development environment
Ø Core java (multi-threading, performance optimization, JVM), Hibernate, Spring, Tomcat
Ø Understanding of general web application architecture and the fundamentals of software design.
Ø In-depth understanding of Object Oriented Principals
Ø Background in Web and database development, messaging systems and SOA architectures
