f4v flash player
Posted 12 August 2009 - 10:23 AM
OK, I use fme to stream live video and record at the same time. My stream quality must be as good a possible; so, I use h.264 format. Thusly, I can only record in .f4v. So far--no problem!
The problem comes when I try to put the video online for others to watch--I can't find a swf player that plays .f4v!
Any suggestions would be great!
I feel like I keep going in circles to find the answer!

Thanks for your help, but for some reason it won't play f4v either!!! Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I'm starting to wonder if there is a player for f4v! But thanks Tom anyway.
Any other ideas would be great!

F4V is the video file for Flash Video and defined by Adobe. Flash Video is viewable on most operating systems, via the widely available Adobe Flash Player and web browser plugin, or one of several third-party programs such as MPlayer, VLC media player, Quicktime, or any player which uses DirectShow filters (such as Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player, and Windows Media Center) when the ffdshow filter is installed.you can also try Adobe Media Player, since F4V file was defined by Adobe.
