Microsoft Word 2007

Posted 13 August 2009 - 11:15 AM

Not sure if this is the right spot for this question, but I am having a strange problem with Microsoft Word 2007.

I have an image in a document, on which I have a textbox created with an arrow pointing to it (i.e., an image with a dog, with an arrow pointing to the dog and a textbox saying "dog." I had grouped these three separate objects together using the group feature so that each time I tried to change the location of the image, the arrow pointing to it and the textbox would all move together as one unit. Now, I would like to ungroup these three objects, yet the ungroup or regroup buttons are both greyed out. Please help!

You might have something else selected that can't be grouped. I'm not quite sure. Try opening a new document and starting over. It's probably just one of those flukes that can't really be explained. haha (and I'm sure you know that you have to have both items selected in order to group them :P)

Let me know if that doesn't work. :)
