I use shells.

EDIT: To explain in more detail, I just get a real big shell and beat the clerk with it.

The reason this is a problem is that the gulf of mexico where this Hurrican is raping is also the same porton of the country that has the few producing wells and all our refinerys. 25% of the US supply just got knocked out of the equasion. so gas just got tighter in the states.

It isnt about the price it is that it will take several weeks or months to get the supply back to what it was. expect shortages.

Best case scenario is that the oil rigs will be working again some time next week.

£ = Pounds (Brilliant)
€ = Euro (Rubbish)

Need I Say More. The English still use the pound and thank god for that.

BTW:
1 British pounds = 1.8038 U.S. dollars According to google. Not 1.65. To quote,

Quote

which is quite a bit difference....

You're right, give or take a penny, my information regarding the 1.65 was old.

I believe you'll find he is referring to the British pound, not the euro.

Approx 1.8 USD to the pound, today.

oh whoops for some reason the pound sign looked like the euro but yeah point taken.

Talk about irony. I went biking to run my errands to save money on gas. My rear wheel's integrity is so blasted to hell I need a new one. To save 10 dollars I have to now spend 200.

Yeah, it's a road/race bike. 200 dollars should give me one with real nice, sturdy spokes keeping the weight down. Every gram counts :P

Hell I don't even know what the cost would be if I went carbon fiber. I have chills even thinking about it.

EDIT: I may have spoken too soon. I just remembered I just bought a new rear wheel. This broken one must be faulty so I'll complain to the company to have them buy me a new one.

Oh ya? Well, I drive a Toyota Prius. It may not look too pretty, but I'm not complaining while I get 60mpg.... (technically, it's 59.9 average, as of this morning - according to the dash readout). B)

I fill up once every two weeks (or less), and it's only like a 12 gallon tank....heh heh heh.
