Its cool. I got the Insight because the honda dealer got a hybrid in first. B)

And Sloth Ill still race you for pinks in the endurance race. Ill hit 113 and go 500 miles at that speed. you would have to stop for gas 2-3 times.

I win. 1976 Ford F-250 460 v8. 6 miles to the gallon city driving. Probably worse on the freeway cause I'm always tempted to go 85. Gotta fill her up on premium too, theres an extra dime per gallon at most of our stations.

Well, I don't know about your car, but the Prius only gets great gas mileage when in the city.... If yours works similarly, would you still win?

Nope 2 diffrent hybrid drivetrains

the prius is a parrallel hybrid that gets better city Used in theese

Prius 1 and 2
Escape hybrid
There is a lexus one coming out that I cannot remember.

the Honda one is serial gets better highway as the electrics provide the extra boost when starting out and passing but dosent have the pzev classification the prius has as it dosent run in electric only.

Insight 60 city - 67+ Hwy

Pruis > Insight for city rats;
Insight > Prius for the out-doorsy types....

That pretty much sum it up? :P

Anyway, I don't take too many long drives, so it works for me. Besides, I'll take the 30mpg over his 6 any day.

As of when I left work today, gas was still $2.63 (on base), I plan on filling up when I leave work tomorrow if it's still that price.

$3.50. It's still low here. $6 in Alabama. Sold the truck. Got a Toyota Tercel, Manual Trans. 30 to the gallon. Everyone better be thinking how they're converting to light rail or bicycles :P
