ok so i have a static ip address witch means i ant just restart my router, or i could if i didn't loose the ip and dns info. lol
so since its my own router is there anyway i can brute force it.
i know it contains at least one capital letter it should be between 8 and 9 letter long, has no special characters.

yes i can connect to it and bring up the log in page, because i remember the wireless password.

i was looking at a program called thc hydra but it only does dictionary attack.
any one know anything about cain & able or anything else pleas help.
i gotta know in the next 2 days or im in trouble.

o ya i hahd to reformat my computer just after so i cant recover it that way.

im willing to install linux and stuff iv had to before to crack my own wep for that password.

As long as you don't take your router offline on a weekend, you should be fine with your ip address. They usually renew every hour, & even then some time will pass before your ip is used again. The reason why it's more often on the weekend, is that more subscribers are added & removed, so the refresh on the ip availability list (& leases) is more often.
