I was gonna disconnect her cable at the dish so she couldn't fix it (she can't climb on the roof) but AT&T put the internet bill in her name (even though I said to put it in my name) so she could actually cancel my internet. That would piss me off.

I have always found it much more gratifying and responsible to do something nice for my mother and find a way to compromise and calm her down, so I get out of being grounded, or have my belongings.

This is much more satisfying in the end than fighting fire with fire, for both people are happy. Your mother will feel appreciated, and think that she's getting her point across. And your deviant deceptions will think that this exist even if you caved in just a little to get your way.

You're both happy and satisfied.

Every parent must be stooden up to some times , not to much to make it not respective but enough to show your not a push over and you have a free will.

I know some one who never stood up to his parents and wanted to go to college to study media but his parents made him go work for his dad in building.

you just need to get the right balance between fighting for yourself and being ignorant.

And never back down and compromise if it's something extremely important

Take your pc away? how often does she do that? must be quite the muscled woman to drag your pc out of your room all the time. Not to mention disconnecting all the cables XD

Hmmm if you are an adult as you insist then you should be able to solve this with compromise on both sides.... you don't need this hassle make the effort first don't waste your time. Oh and I haven't ever been threatened with the take computer away.... my rooms upstairs and she'd have to come up her to know what I'm up to all day XD

seems like she doesn't really know what you do and thinks you need to go outside more XD why not show her something you built/coded
or better yet talk really excitedly about something she doesn't understand everytime you see her.... eventually she'll prefere you to be on the machine XD

Oh and its always a good idea to go out doors.... well actually maybe not *Screechs and close slit eyes*

and to get back on topic you hijacker

I had dreams in code for the first time last night XD
I was helping a friend over skype and we were making a new language XD

Can't remember anything more now but I'm definitely knackered XD

It was a laptop, finally got it back, and she does it often. I would show her, but I can't do anything big because she takes it away and by the time I get it back all my fire and inspirations burned out I only get to about 500 lines of code before it gets taken away again . My comp is at the kitchen table because the kitchen is like the only place in the house with grounded outlets, and my new power cord has 3 prongs So yea, I'm screwed til I get out I dreamed in code again last night, ... then I had a dream about Lt. Sassy Britches that I wasn't to fond of.... D=<

yeah being right in the old line of sight is not good! although even out of site isn't perfect! if I make a noise in my room after prolonged periods of absence my mam thinks of some new magical task for me to do involving alcohol wipes and a manky rubbish bin XD god I can't wait to go back to college XD
