my PS2 recently got fused with water entering the mainboard of PS2.
(damn rains, water drippin everywhere)

now time for a decision : Dump that PS2 and get a PSP.
or is the PS2 worthy of getting repaired. or have em both.

its gonna cost me a good $40 for repairs and i can get a new PSP for
$500 (with 1Gb stick)

i have $600 to spare.
should i go for em both >

If it were me I would go with the psp, seeing as how its new its going to have lifeblood for a while (whereas with the release of the ps3 ps2 might die down a bit).

and what is it with ps2s? mine broke, as well as everyone else's that I know.

I'd wait for the next-gens or get a DS.

I really can't see the point in spending loads on a PSP, which is just a repition of what we have allready seen. Go for somthing new is my opinion.

i don't think the two decisions are related at all. fix the ps2 if you wan't to play games for the ps2, buy a psp if you want to play games for the psp. simple as that.

Try something new...i wouldn't go for a PSP ( i don't know why myself ).
Go for an XBOX or something ( oops...i dont think XBOX is available "legally" in India ).
But if you are really attached to your PS2...go get it repaired.

or maybe he just doesn't want to buy new xbox games when he already has a stack of ps2 games?
