iPhone development using JUST ANSI C

Posted 15 September 2009 - 07:24 AM

Hi folks at DIC

I have a question that so far cannot be answer by Google "The Great".

Can you develop an iPhone Application with just using ANSI C?

Because I don't want to have to learn a whole new programming language if I want my applications that were built in ANSI C to ported to the iPhone. I mean I'm not totally "bitching" about it (would be beneficial to learn a new language).

But yeah again "Can you develop an iPhone Application with just using ANSI C?" :)

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

The easiest answer to this question is that no, you can't.

The longer answer is that you might be able to, but you'll spend more time jumping through hoops to get things even up and running than you would learning Objective-C - assuming you could even do this.
