I have a few "thanks" for simply posting forum rules. It's just a number & doesn't need to hold any real value. It's a wonderful gesture for the reader whom was thankful for receiving the help, & in my opinion, no more than just that.
There is no reason to "sticky" a topic to suggest users to be thankful. Especially under a language. It's there, they can see it, & they can choose to (or not to) use it.

Keep using the "Thanks" feature as it is incorporated in to each post in the new version of the forums
