Well i find the Windows Xp default task manager worthless as it cant kill programs which tend to hang up sucking CPU cycles and memory.

i need a better more efficient task manager >

is there any ?

also some programs which run in the background keep tha hard-disk busy as fuck. i need something that will monitor these activites.
