umm, I know you worry about bandwidth and it's gonna be a problem if we host dreamincode.net on 100gb bandwidth servers, I used to be worried about it to now I got a host that gives 500gb a month. So the forum proberly won't be too much worry when adding sections to it.

The worry has nothing to do with bandwidth. Dream.in.code is hosted on a dedicated server with 2 terrabytes of bandwidth a month. The reason we would not create individual sections is due to traffic and interest.

If you have to many forums with not enough interest or traffic, the site will appear to be smaller than it really is. If we split a lot of our forums up in to smaller sub-topics, each would only have a few threads and appear to not have a lot of activity. This is a turn-off to new visitors.

Having a single game forum where anything game programming related is the way to go. If for some reason there is a huge flood of gaming related posts that require seperate forums, then sub-forums of gaming may be created but this is highly unlikely.

Bandwidth is not an issue.

I guess you are trying to say, adding the forums will need to keep the traffic of the forum higher. I think it should do since we would be disscussed in other game forums.
