- How helpful have our members been when you've had a programming/web dev problem? Is there anything you would change to make how we help people better?
-Don't change a thing, this is the best formula. Fast, complete and comprehensible responses is what DIC is all about. Why change the perfect formula? - Have you hesitated before posting because you didn't know if something was against the rules? Has this discouraged you from posting in the Caffeine Lounge?
-What has mostly discouraged me from posting in the lounge is the potential reactions of other members. Supersloth and Capty are the most known for giving out their comments raw. Still I find that this is ok, because otherwise the lounge would probably filled with crap. - Did you feel welcome as a new member? Were the replies you received friendly?
-Nearly 20 days after joining, I won an Ipod nano, so yes I felt very welcome. 99.9 percent of the replies I got were very friendly. - How do you perceive the overall attitude of the site? (Friendly, childish, mean, Fun, etc.)
-Friendly, Comprehensive, Helpful - Have you visited the Caffeine Lounge? If you have not posted in the Lounge, please let us know why not.
-Of course I have! - Is the information on dream.in.code well organized and easy to understand? Are we missing any topics, or are any of the topics to broad?
-I'd like a rate my boxx perm thread in the Hardware and Mods section, just for fun. Also, a cool site category under resources or a link of the day thingy would be nice.
EDIT: The flyer roxors my boxors! I'll post it everywhere at school. We should have more meets too. Make it twice a year or something, and somewhere else than NM would be nice.

DIChat was removed for a while, I think its going to be reserved for special chat nights and interviews etc that we do every once in a while but as far as the average saturday night or whatever went it wasn't popular enough to advert it all over the site.
The Lounge works better for general BS.

The requirement that you must have made 10 posts before you can use the personal message system is not only not very handy (to me), its also pretty unclear.
I hope that helps

Capty, sorry, didn't see this question until now.
We were never with Dream Host, our servers are with Ev1Servers.net. I will probably be moving dream.in.code to a fully dedicated server with The Planet (a subsidiary of EV1) on a brand new piece of hardware. This may take place as early as next month, but most likely I'll wait until the school year is over.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll track down the piece of code I used to use to notify users with <10 posts that there were limitations.
We had to implement that limitation due to the amount of spam that would be sent out by members who simply registered to spam other members.
