Free Screen Capture Software

Anybody know of a good free screen capture software? I need one that can capture a video of the screen. Thanks for any help!

camstuidio
game cam
and screen cam
to download them google search

besides Camstudio, Hypercam, etc, you can also google out other similar programs, like ScreenHunter, FastStone Screen Capture. These are also good and free screen capture software.

Fraps is not free. What I would recommend is Windows Media Encoder 9, which is free and lets you create high-quality WMV-typed screencasts. CamStudio is nice, but its big drawback (at least for me) is the quality, which is really poor.
