We need a TOPIC SOLVED mod!

Posted 02 October 2009 - 05:18 AM

i think what we need here is a TOPIC SOLVED tag to resolved issues. It should be on the topic display page IMO.

When a member's problem is solved they just mark it as SOLVED so that we only focus on those that need attention.

I think it can be quite a time saving feature.

Usually the option would be displayed beside the other buttons for FastReply, Addreply and NewTopic.

It could be on the left side and maybe the topic starter only should access it. I have seen many communities having it..IPB boards surely must have it!

I know this is on the list of changes they have planned for in the future. The status of the updates on that list however is unknown by me at this time. But it will surely be one of the changes they will be implementing when they get the chance. So worry not, it will come!

Ya it would be a nice feature but, we'll start having to push ppl to resolve their topic after they get the help
Otherwise the searching would keep pulling up same results

Though, you could have a mod that browses the topics and marks them as resolved if they are.
