Change background image on buttonclick?

Posted 16 October 2009 - 12:36 PM

Hi! I have been trying to make a "skinnable" program, and I am having trouble making it so that when the user clicks a button, it changes to a different image for the background. How do I do this? I have tried this:

Base.BackgroundImage = ("C:\Program Files\Flipper\Skins\greenblue.png")

Any ideas?

A tutorial on skinning was posted in the VB.NET Tutorials here:

Intro to "skinning" an application

but assuming Base is your form name try

Base.BackgroundImage = System.Drawing.Image.FromFile("C:\Program Files\Flipper\Skins\greenblue.png")
